Storyteller Showcase, hosted by Napa County Poet Laureate Aisha Rivera, Presents: Coming Home

Inspired by NPR's Moth Radio and hosted by celebrated Napa County Poet Laureate Aisha Rivera*, we are thrilled to host our first Storyteller Showcase. 

September's theme is Coming Home and local storytellers will share experiences, memories, and anecdotes, all presented in their own unique voice. At times humorous, at times vulnerable, this is an evening is celebrate and acknowledge the highs and lows of real life. This intimate evening is not to be missed.

Your $25 ticket includes a glass of Blackbird wine, so you can sip, settle in, and listen to the stories as the music flows and the sky fades to twilight.

*Aisha Rivera is the current Napa County Poet Laureate (2023 - Present) an actor, visual artist, and playwright from Napa, CA. Their poetry can be found in the poetry anthologies "Poetics without Borders" and "Latinas, Gender, Race, and Class…”. They established Napa's first Poetry Open Mic at Napa Bookmine, which has now moved to Napa Valley Education Foundation near the Oxbow. The Open Mic lands on the last Friday of every month from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM. Aisha also advocates for the power of poetry through education, community programming, performance, and more. Aisha believes in the power poetry holds to build community, create social change, and express the wonder rollercoaster that is the human experience.
